Save a life - Railway Children India

Provide a Safe Shelter

A large number of children are found lost, abandoned, or fleeing from home every day. This situation emphasizes the need to reach out and rescue them, and respond to their most immediate needs before they take to a life on the streets. Our team works 24/7 to rescue and protect children and your support is essential for our continued work.

Continuing Education

Providing educational materials and support to the children accessing our shelter and those less fortunate living in the communities beside these railway stations. 607children were provided with educational material for support in continuing education.

Family reunification

Every 5 minutes a child arrives alone at the station trafficked, kidnapped, or lost. Our team works around the clock to rescue these children and trace to reunite them with their families. Your donation can help us carry out our work of reuniting the children with their loved ones.

Nutrition for all

Proper nutrition is essential for a child’s growth and overall development. Balanced nutrition is provided to the children living in our open shelter and to those in the community adjoining the station. Through our work with the communities, 9562 children were provided nutritional support and dry rations in 2021-22. Donate to feed a child.

Health

Our safe open shelter addresses the medical and psychosocial needs of the children living with us. Donate to keep children safe and healthy living in this home away from home.
