Our Child Safeguarding Policy (CSP) is built on standards and detailed procedures which aim to ensure that Railway Children India is a child-safe organisation, seeking to engage children into its projects, without discrimination, fear or coercion, and also to provide dignity and worth to children’s lives. Our policy of Zero Tolerance towards child abuse by all staff, volunteers, consultants, partners and visitors including vendors, interns is clearly outlined and articulated within the CSP.

• No child should experience further harm incidentally or intentionally.
• The key pillars of our CSP includes detailed procedures on awareness, prevention, reporting and responding to child safeguarding issues and concerns guides to set culture of child safe organisation and accountability of all members.
• Railway Children India invests in a full time Manager Child Safeguarding and in capacity building activities to strengthen the protective culture for children and provide accessibility to a 24X7 reporting mechanism.
