Railway Children India (hereinafter referred to as “RCI”) has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. RCI expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. RCI also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. RCI shall examine requests for refund of donation and shall make an endeavour to make the refund on a case to case basis. RCI may also seek proper explanation and reasons from the donor for such refund. It is further clarified that such refund, may require further verification of the donor and RCI may require documents of proof and of the donation made by the donor.
It is made clear that RCI is not obliged to make refunds and may, at its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
If you would like your donation to be refunded, you must request RCI in writing or by email for a refund at the following address: –
