This cartoonist needs no introduction. While he is the first to have an opinion on any political scam, economic crisis and social scheme, he’s also one of the few who strongly comments on children’s issues in India, through the power of his cartoons.
Satish Acharya has over the years made bold statements, contrary to public opinion, yet provided invaluable insights by challenging status quo, questioning societal norms and contributing largely to public discussion on the rights of children. He is direct and subtle at the same time, interrogating instances of injustice and celebrating equality, to help understand our roles and responsibilities towards children and the issues they face.
