My experience with RCI has been more than rewarding. The first thing that struck me was how accommodating RCI was of my interest in poetry and I’m proud to say that my volunteering is something that comes from the heart. Children have always been fascinating to me in the way they approach life and everyday happenings and to know that there are children unable to do so has motivated me to write for them through RCI
To all the volunteers one thing I always think of to remind me why I do what I do is to remember why I started, why I picked this issue and began to write. And I think that is something everyone can use to get back the energy of earlier days
