In an attempt to curb the spread of COVID19, came an unprecedented education emergency. For the first time in history, 1.6 billion children and learners across the world, were out of school. This pandemic risks rolling back decades of progress for children and their learning, interrupting the education of an entire generation. If the gap between the realities on the ground and the global commitments to education keep widening, how will we achieve the SDG of quality education for all?
