“For the past three decades as I traveled the world on assignment, and have witnessed children working in fields, factories, ditches, tunnels, mines, and ship-breaking yards,”

said world famous photographer Steve McCurry. Through his decades of work, he came to be known for his ability to tell stories with a human element. It was through his many visual stories, that he shared the narratives of children at work, across the world.

While many talented photographers have told powerful and moving stories of child labourers, Steve McCurry’s photos make you stop, think, reflect and question your moral obligation to help end this dire childhood condition.

Here’s some of his work from across the world.
