All the air they go could breath
children they will suffer
The rain and it’s feat
An experience that is extinct
Weather forecasts they say
We give you hope on the rain
Yet the elephant in the room
Isn’t given a thought
because after all the world revolves around humans
they cut us down
but want the rain
“oh no too much carbon dioxide “
well you didn’t think before the biocide
“I want to build a house here”
“Let my kid play here”
Yet chop chop to the trees near
no one sees the city
that has to flee
because you’re bringing down a country
A country of bees
A country of birds
But worse
You are robbing children of their playground
All the lives you take for you
will never let your greedy wishes come true
The children they will cry
For they haven’t seen a land that isn’t dry
